Every adult guest brings one cake to the event. It can be homemade, store-bought, simple, or extravagant - the joy is in sharing! Please attach a small label with the cake’s name and any important details (flavour, allergens, or inspiration).

We Portion & Display Your Cake

Upon arrival, our team receives your cake, portions it, and adds it to our spectacular Cake Village - a beautiful display featuring hundreds of cakes contributed by the community. This is where the magic truly begins.

Explore The Cake Village

Wander through rows of colourful, creative, mouthwatering cakes. Take photos, discover new flavours, and enjoy the joyful atmosphere of hundreds of cakes in one place.

Fill Your Slice Box

Every adult guest receives a Slice Box. Stroll through the Cake Village and fill it with your choice of slices, from classic favourites to bold new creations. It’s the sweetest treasure hunt in Cape Town.

Enjoy The Festival

Once your Slice Box is filled, enjoy live music, food trucks, kids’ cupcake decorating, pop up bars, the vendor market, and the gallery-inspired Cake Art Walk while soaking in the sunshine and celebration.

Kids Corner

Our little guests are in for a treat! The Kids’ Corner will be bursting with fun, colour, and creativity. Children can enjoy face painting, get hands-on at our cupcake decorating station, and burn off some energy on the jumping castles. We’ll also have slushies, popcorn and candy floss on sale to keep the smiles going all day long. A perfect spot for kids to play while the grown-ups relax and enjoy the festival!

Food Trucks & Pop-Up Bars

Bring your appetite and your curiosity! Our food truck village will be serving up a delicious variety of eats, from savoury street-food favourites to sweet indulgences perfectly paired with the festival vibe. Wander between flavours, grab a bite, and discover something new at every stop.

And for the adults, our pop-up bars will feature talented mixologists crafting refreshing, Instagram-worthy cocktails throughout the day. Think bold flavours, fresh garnishes, and drinks mixed with flair.
